We live in a toxic world and there’s no way around it.
When it comes to toxins, there are those you can control and those you can’t.
The good news is you have the choice to avoid toxic pesticides and herbicides, BPA’s, plastics, free radicals, mercury and mold in your foods…
…as well as dangerous chemicals in your household and personal care products by paying closer attention and choosing products that align with your value of health.
Unfortunately you can’t control environmental toxins like arsenic, chromium, lead, mercury, radon and formaldehyde from pollution.
And even if you are eating a healthy diet, pesticides and herbicides can still sneak into your foods.
These are cancer causing toxins and wreak havoc on your endocrine system.
This is why “binders” can be a gentle way to help eliminate these toxins from your body.
A binder latches to toxins that then get excreted through your stool instead of getting reabsorbed in your gut.
There are many types of binders on the market and each may be helpful for different reasons:
- Chlorella: effective at helping remove heavy metals and other harmful compounds from the body
- Clays like zeolite and bentonite: absorbs and cleanses the body of harmful elements
- Charcoal: eliminates and traps toxins and chemicals so they can’t be reabsorbed
- DIM: supports hormone metabolism
- Serum-derived bovine immunoglobulins: binds a broad range of microbes and toxins within the gut
- Fulvic acid: binds and eliminates toxins in the body such as heavy metals
- Pectin: helps purge toxins from the bloodstream through bile and can also aid in the eliminating harmful substances, such as mercury and lead.
These are a few of my favorite binders that I use personally and recommend to my clients as well:
GI DETOX: Assists in binding toxins including LPS, metals, and unwanted microbial by-products. May assist with mold and mycotoxin clearance. Perfect as a medicine cabinet staple when food or water quality is compromised. Must be taken away from food and other supplements. Important to replenish minerals while using GI Detox.
BioToxin Binder: This formulation includes wild crafted yucca root along with extracts of fulvic acid. This formulation is designed to target specific biotoxins like mycotoxins from mold and ammonia, as well as bacteria, parasites, and other byproducts from yeast, fungi, and viruses. Can be taken with or without food.
HM-ET Binder: Support for heavy metals and environmental toxins contains a special form of carbon that contains extracts of fulvic acid and extracts of humic acid. This BioActive Carbon can be taken with or without food and other supplements without incident.
Once I added binders to my own protocols…I saw a huge shift in my overall gut health and energy too.
This is just one reason we test and don’t guess as a powerful tool in your overall healing.
