The “2017 Dirty Dozen and Clean 15” list just came out from Environmental Working Group.
It’s an important reminder to buy organic whenever possible ESPECIALLY for those listed in the Dirty Dozen. Washing your veggies does not remove the pesticides unfortunately, so every time you think you’re eating healthy with non-organic produce, think again. Although non-organic veggies are better than no veggies at all, the non-organic Dirty Dozen is certainly contributing to your toxic load. If you don’t have access to organic veggies, try to stick to the Clean 15 and ditch the Dirty Dozen.
